Rockin' Robin

I personally love bird watching. It's so relaxing and it gives such a deep unknown pleasure to my heart, mind, and soul.  There was this robin who used to perch on my fence every day.  I would watch him through my bedroom window.  He was the cutest thing.  He was a hoppin' and a boppin' and singing all day.  He would leave, come back, and then to the birdbath for water.  He was a happy bird, and no matter how many other birds flew by flapping their wings he would never follow.

He never got drunk on berries like so many other birds.  He was a free spirit.  When evening would come and roosting time was near he would rock all the way to the woods.  He was a pleasure to watch.  Then to my surprise one day he brought a friend. They played back and forth flying from the fence to the power line and back again.

As humans, some of us outgrow our flock yet always close to our hearts.  As we grow we must learn to lead and take responsibility for our own lives.  Level up and fly on a different frequency.  Learn to think for ourselves and become secure in our being as our vision becomes sharp like the Eagle. The eagle will never lower his standards for no other bird.  Nope, not gonna do it.  He enjoys flying at a higher altitude.  He has a leader's instinct.

Those with hope they soar on wings like the eagle; they run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Remember no bird can fly without opening its wings, and no one can love without exposing their heart.  As we grow we develop a "circle of influence" that helps motivate us to make that quantum leap.

A touch of love from,

Sunshine & Rainbows
