Supercilious follows Belle, a young girl who, despite being dismissed by her peers for not conforming to their superficial standards and airs of superiority, clings to her faith, her mother, and her loyal dog. This animated short blends fantasy with profound messages about self-discovery and societal expectations. Its nomination for the 54th NAACP Image Award underscores the power of global collaboration and storytelling.    
Her film garnered notable attention, with coverage in leading publications such as Essence, Ebony, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Black Film.com, Bet.com and Animation Magazine, affirming its impact and significance. This widespread recognition underscores the groundbreaking nature of the work and the power of the collective vision.
