Applaud yourself for doing the right thing.  Applaud yourself for not doing wrong when everyone else was encouraging you to do so at the expense of your own destiny. Applaud yourself for not being distracted by what everyone else is doing.  Applaud yourself for not deceiving others to paint a picture like you’ve done no wrong.  Applaud yourself for not trying to be someone you’re not.  Applaud yourself for being that man or that woman who walks in the path of righteousness.  How 'bout a round of applause, a standing ovation for that major breakthrough God just blessed you with. დ A touch of love from Sunshine & Rainbows     

Today, I say “out” to every negative thought that comes to my mind.  No person, place, or thing will have any power over me, for I am the only thinker in my mind.  I create my own reality and everyone in it. I choose to be happy, and my positive attitude is that I am abundant.  I am enough.  I believe there’s enough dreamwork, success, and everything you desire to go around and come back again.  With each thought of abundance, I emit the frequency of that which I desire.  With each feeling of alignment and ease, I draw to myself all I could ever need.  So, “the little things” the secret weapons of Satan like negativity, false fronts, shuck and jive, distrust, deceit need not apply. დ A touch of love from, Sunshine & Rainbows

  Lend me your ear sista, it's hard to stay in shape if you only exercise on Sunday.  Then you are sitting on the pew gossiping with a mouth full of jel-lee-cee.  Do you know how much that weighs? Work harder Monday thru Saturday and let go of all that jel-lee-cee.  Because the next time you sit next to me I'm gonna say "get out of my way Satan."  Move over because I'm here to get my praise on.  If you can't say anything nice say a prayer.  დ A touch of love from, Sunshine & Rainbows

  Dear new day, this message is hot off the press.  I am writing to inform anyone who is tuned in to keep the faith.  Stop permitting bad energy to interfere with your positive frequency.  Learn to groove to your own music, march like a soldier, and step proudly like a horse.  Become versed in living life second by second, step by step, day by day, and when we do the most amazing things will happen.  Everything began to align.  Look around and you’ll see ain’t no catching up to you.   I came across a story and thought it merited sharing.  Sometimes we become so infuriated as the ol’ saying goes you “start seeing red”.  Try not to allow your emotions to get the best of you.  In the end, we ruin friendships, relationships, family-ships, our own lives until we sink like a ship.  Alternatively, rather than becoming acrimonious take a deep breath and think to yourself, I was wrong I am going to apologize.  Sometimes even if you weren’t wrong just have enough empathy to understand.  Here’s the story:   There was a snake that crawled over a sharp saw and was cut. In anger the snake wrapped the saw with its thick body and proceeded to squeeze the life out of the saw. With each angry squeeze, it felt more pain but continued because it wasn’t going to let the saw get away with the pain it caused it. The snake refusing to let go of the saw eventually died, not knowing the whole time he needed to let go of the initial pain and focus on its future and where it was going. Inste

Have you ever heard the idiom "lying like a dog"? While dogs don't tell untruths, people often do. Some lie for various reasons: to avoid admitting the truth, to maintain power, to hide guilt, to save face, to protect someone, or even to shame someone. Some lies are meant to perpetuate wrongdoing, with the hope that others will accept and overlook the deception. However, it's important to remember that a lie doesn't transform the truth, and wrong actions don't become right just because they are accepted by the majority. Wrong remains wrong, regardless of how the truth is twisted. Choosing honesty over falsehood is always the better path. Lies can lead to a life of evasion, constant worry, strained relationships, and a sense of victimhood. Those who suffer from habitual lying, or what we might call "liarrhea," often believe their own falsehoods, but ultimately, it's a self-inflicted burden. Always remember that the truth has no cost, but a lie can

 Sometimes it's good to h ave a genuine conversation with ourselves about ourselves.  Have you ever thought about why you're not where you desire to be in life?  The only person who is able to restrict your growth is you. You are the only person who can impact your success. Your life changes when you break through your limiting beliefs and understand that you’re in control of your life. The most influential relationship you can have is the relationship you have with yourself. Now you know who has been holding you back from satisfying your truest potential.  Is it accurate to say you're going to keep allowing that person to hold you back or are you going to truly love yourself? Just take all your unavailing and unproductive thoughts and throw them out the window.  It's time to have a new state of mind and let the good times roll.   დ A touch of love from, Sunshine & Rainbows  

Let your glow be the fire that lights the world. Stop discouraging your dreams with questions like what if I fall, but what if you fly?  Stay uplifted and become a synonym for GLOW:  beam, blaze, luminosity, shine, light, truth. Remain on the bright side with those who want to see you win the right way, those who believe in you, those who applaud you for positive reasons, and those who encourage you.   If you encounter darkness flip the switch and be the light.  Take up your shield and extinguish your flame.  Put on the “whole armor of God.” That includes girding yourself with “truth,” wearing the “breastplate of righteousness,” protecting your feet with the “gospel of peace,” off-setting the attack by the “shield of faith,” protecting your mind by the “helmet of salvation,” and finally use the “sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. When you hear slay, what comes to mind?  It indeed is a word that you mostly hear being used in the black vernacular.  Slay emerged as a fashion colloquialism as a way to describe a person who was dressed to kill.  But today it has a whole new vibe.  It means to do something of great skill.  It means to rise to  move from a lower position to a higher one; come or go up. It is an upward movement.  How many of you watch track and field?  In the 400 runners are required to stay in their lane.  We all have our own lane or lanes where you can set goals and roll at your own pace.  You don't need to be over here and zig-zagging across and into another person's lane.  Do you - stay positive, stay motivated, stay focused, stay in the race, and stay strong. You don't have anything to prove to anyone.  Don't get caught up in trying to seek attention.  There's nothing in the world that can stop a true personality from thriving.  Think about this, "a lion never needs to tel

Turn it up invokes several different connotations.  However, the one I'm referring to is the urban meaning.  To  enhance and refine life experiences in order to achieve the optimal outcome in turn increases the value of excellence. It's a very slim chance anyone can succeed when he thinks, sleeps and talks failure; harbor thoughts of failure and can arrive at failure in style.  Ultimately, that man who harbors thoughts of success, will arrive at success peacefully and in style. I encourage anyone to rise above small thinking and small things.  Rise above your doubts, rise above your fears, rise above excuses, rise above feeling you're better or less than anyone else, rise above putting others down, rise above jealousy, and the list rolls on and on. Believe in yourself and all that you are.  You have power over the mind .

A wise man won an expensive car in a lottery.   His family and friends were very happy for him and came to celebrate.  ‘Isn’t it great!’  they said.  ‘You are so lucky.’  The man smiled and said  ‘ Maybe.’ For a few weeks, he enjoyed driving the car. Then one day a drunken driver crashed into his new car at an intersection and he ended up in the hospital, with multiple injuries. His family and friends came to see him and said,  ‘That was really unfortunate.’  Again the man smiled and said,  ‘ Maybe.’ While he was still in the hospital, one night there was a landslide and his house fell into the sea.   A group of friends decided to take a train ride through the gorgeously beautiful countryside; lakes, trees, green fields, mountains, and even rivers. But the whole time the curtains were closed. They had not the slightest idea of what lies beyond the windows of the train. The entire excursion is spent quarreling over who merits the seat of honor, who will be applauded, who will be well considered. And it remains until the journey’s end in opposition.  Consider This:   A person's actions will tell you everything you need to know about them.   Oops, she slipped, tripped, and stumble into you. Oops, you thought you had destroyed her defense. Then with fun and game … chasing the wind, you got dizzy and tripped into a tizzy, after being hit with your own curveball … You thought your pitch would be a home run... Oh, but gee!! Such as life ... You slipped, you stumbled and you fell. You should have read this before you open your bag of tricks. Woe to the world because of its stumbling blocks! For it is inevitable that stumbling blocks come, but woe to that man through whom the stumbling block comes! In the name of love, never deliberately cause others to stumble. Here I am pampering myself listening to Christmas music.  Simply put, I'm throwing myself a party.  I'm relaxed, feeling blessed, and immersed in God's grace.  There's beauty in this season, in every day and I'm a witness. There's something mystic about  the holiday season.  It's blowing in the air and people everywhere can feel it.     It's flakes of joy and a precious reminder that we are truly loved.  Surely  in the now requires the ability to accept what is in the moment without longing for what used to be or yearning for what is yet to come.   I'd be the first to admit that having this ability doesn't come easily.   ... but, it's the gleeful mindset we scurry into January , February, March, April, May, and June with.   It's the  twinkling in August, September to  October into November.   Now December warms our heart and feeds our soul.  It's because the greatest LOVE of all is birthing, entering, and shining upon the world. When you’ve been all kind of crazy and refuse to apologize shame on you. When you come to the conclusion and realization you’ve been wrong and you still don’t apologize your conscience is going to keep reminding you day in and day out until life’s very end. We cause ourselves and others to go through so many unnecessary changes. Then like a spinning top whirling around, we get caught up in twirling lies, in hiding from the truth, in guilt too embarrassed to admit our mistakes. Have the courage of a tiger, "starve your distraction and feed your focus." We are all imperfect beings. Sometimes you just gotta do what's right.   You may not be for everybody, but everybody isn't for you either.  Everybody ain't your partner, but you can be the baddest, greatest, most outstanding individual you can be.  Learn from the beauty of the butterfly and think about all the cycles it had to go through to achieve its beauty.  Life lessons are the best dress rehearsals. Keep your head up, your prayer life strong and remember the best life under the sun is the one you live doing what makes you glow.   It's called I am looooovvvvvve.   დ A touch of love from, Aurora L. Keep Climbing First, in all we do, do it for the glory of God.  Then with tenderness love others as yourself.  If we spend most of our time competing, casting shade, deceiving, and backstabbing you’re cheating yourself. Trash the crab mentality.  You’re imitating satan.  He thought he was superior to all even the one who gave him life.  Don’t mock God.  You’re mocking God when you know your works are attached to self-glorification. When you’re living a purpose-driven life led by my God there is no limit.  The word says d o not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but think of yourself with sober judgment, according to the measure of faith God has given you.   Do you so well until you make the angels sing, and as others observe all they can say is wow. Everything that we are and we have belongs to God. Every breath we take should be for Him.  All of our gifts and talents are to be used to magnify Him.  Though, pride gets a lot of people in trouble.  It takes away from God’s glory.  Envision someone on a stage and the spotlight is on them. Now picture yourself walking on stage and pushing that person so that the spotlight will be focused on you. Ugh, really? How are you going to just walk onto the stage and block someone because you don’t want them to be seen?  You don't want them to shine. You feel like they’re upstaging you.  Whoa, don’t expect others to treat you right when you ain’t acting right yourself. Remember you're the inspiration, your jealousy can’t block their blessings, but it surely can block your own. დ A touch of love from, Sunshine & Rainbows

They can’t break you because they didn’t make you. Strong women aren’t simply born. We are forged through the challenges of life. With each challenge, we grow intellectually and inwardly. We push forward with our head held high and a strength that can not be denied. A woman who’s experienced the tempest, the downpour, and endured.   As the night gets dark, let your worries fade. sleep peacefully knowing you’ve done all you can do for today. This prayer was written by me for you and all of us . Dear God, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for blessing us to breathe the breath of another day. You are our lamp lighting up the darkness in these perilous times. God, we are strong in you and we thank you that you live in our hearts and give us wisdom and the ability to know right from wrong. For your love is too wonderful to be measured.
