The truth is some people never intend to let you down. Their best is just less than you expected. Yes, it's a fact, that some people we expect to be there for us are always the ones who let us down. I've had to learn some hard lessons in the school of hard knocks for myself. Sometimes we hold high expectations for some who don't deserve it and others who try but they can't because all they know is what they know. The bright side is you have to meet them where they are because their best is what you see. It's true when a person shows you who they are believe them. They can't extend any further because they haven't learned any better.
