When that happens, we disconnect from our own power and override the very guidance meant to protect us.

Most people ignore it and go anyway. Later, they feel drained, uncomfortable, or like they wasted their time. If you had trusted that first instinct, you would have politely declined and protected your energy. That’s intuition in action.
