As a young girl growing up, I absolutely loved sewing. My mother bought me my very first Kenmore sewing machine when I was in grade school, and from that moment on, fashion became my thing. Understanding how garments were built, how fabric draped, and how a design came to life laid the foundation for everything that followed. Later, modeling for JCPenney gave me an entirely different perspective on style and presentation. Seeing fashion from both side, the construction and the finished look deepened my appreciation for the power of a well-put-together outfit.
